I honestly expected it to be more boring. I mean, it was boring. Same old same old modern superspeedway racing where nobody has a lick of sense. Hopefully the drivers shake off the rust and put on a clinic next Sunday. I can’t fault any leader for blocking. Keselowski, Truex, Logano, Larson, Newman, Hamlin. That’s how you win these days. But dang, the pusher needs to have a little sense and know when to not push the issue. Then again, there’s no room for error when it’s bumper to bumper. How many cars crashed off the nose of a Chevy today?

New era actually make pretty good quality hats... which is why I chose that one. There were cheaper ones but I didnt like how flimsy they looked.

He's not wrong. I understand it was 9 to go and things were heating up, but it's not the Daytona 500. I can understand blocking at all costs on the last turn of the last lap at the biggest race, but come on, Joey, this was an exhibition race. It was a dumb move.

 

Then again,
Hendrick and Chevy are not what they were ten years ago. Hendrick needs a driver who is a team leader and Brad can provide that in spades. That Camaro is still a dog. I wonder how many people will wreck off the nose of a Camaro this weekend.
