Retrofit and BHLM Headlights

I still need to align mine. Need to find a flat wall in a city.

 

I did mine on my angled driveway, I just marked my distance from the garage door with the OEM and put a reference mark, then got the retros close to that. Then pulled behind a parked car on the street just to verify they were blowin up the side mirrors.

How do I tint the clear inner glass piece for the inner turn lights into orange colored tinted glass?
I have seen a few folks who have them.

UPS, ordered the labels on the ups site, bundled the two packages as one shipment and used the code he suggested in his pm. I am in VA though so way closer

 

Fuck I forgot about the code, damn it.

 

First I was like “WTF these guys talking about...” then I remembered that you have to send your stocks back to Kevin.

I can’t believe it costs that much to ship them!

Even more reason to go with finding a clean set to have drop-shipped straight to Kevin. That’s what I did... cost $350 for the lights shipped to him. You can probably find a set for $300 shipped (I had offers at that price but had already gone with the set for $350).

That means for an extra ~$200 difference you could avoid the whole shipping thing entirely AND have an extra set of lights to either sell or better yet put back on when you sell/trade.

I guess I’m an advocate for doing the whole 2nd set of lights. Seem to be a lot of them for sale now (thanks Morimoto XB’s?)

 

Sending a set in is definitely a great way to go. Return shipping can be expensive. Printing labels online and using the promo code can save you a few bucks though.

 

$130 shipping?? WTF. I've always found FedEx Home delivery cheapest for larger items. I still don't get it though. I just shipped a 23# package to Canada and it was 20x10x10 for $81. That was USPS.
