Got the bumper and winch on last night, still have to figure a way to install the trim pieces under the head lights, wire the winch, install the fairlead, and install some light pods. I had to move my transmission cooler up about 1/2 inch because the winch was hitting it.

My Bilsteins and OME 885 spring definitely ride smoother with all the weight up front. Sprayed the bumper with Rustoleum bed liner. If it doesn't work well I can always blast it off and coat with something else.
    fullsizeoutput_24c7.jpg
At a later date I might try to adjust the height to close the gap. Grill has two screws and four zip ties holding it in place. Time to clean my frame because it shows so much now.

Not a great quality pic, but thought id throw this pic in here. Ordered some Mcneil 2 inch fiberglass to get rid of that overhang on the wings of the bumper. Ill post pics of that whenever the ship... probably about 2 or 3 years from now.

@ColbyZarba Please explain to me what 2" fiberglass means? Is that 2" up AND 2"out or just one or the other?

Don't suppose you have any pics of the skid on the truck (not just close ups, like on CO's site)? I've got one in the works, and am a little curious about how "tucked in" it'll be.

That looks like a universal product shoe horned in.

EDIT: Didn't realize that was your truck. I stand by my statement but I did not intend to be rude.

Thanks, you've sort of summed up/confirmed what I've been thinking as it's come together. I'm hoping not to "use" it too, too much, so I think it'll work for me.

wanted my fog lights back so i bought cheap little mounts and place them a bit lower on the bumper. will probably get rid of the mounts though and just drill/bolt through the bumper to recess them a bit, i just didnt want to do that originally. 20200207_144920.jpg 20200207_144915.jpg

@ColbyZarba I'm very interested in your rear bumper build, please keep us informed as you progress.

What did you use to cut the bed sides? Are you going to use some sort of edge trim?

Do you still have the black bumper ledge piece (not sure what its called) that goes just under the headlights? I'll be bending a piece of flat bar and bolting it to that for each side of the filler panels to mount onto. Haven't had time yet to do it yet though, but I know it'll work.

Will definitely keep ya updated. We just used an angle grinder. I thought about trim but not 100%. it looks pretty clean as is, but to prevent rust and what not in the future it may be a good idea.
