What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I tried it on an old Bel Air I had. It squeaked really bad eventually. Since then I've seen several different vehicles where the spray foam did the same thing. I think it might have something to do with the vibrations that go through a vehicle, idk just guessing. It definitely gets worse and worse as time goes on.

Yes, but for the front passenger door only...that's why I have two extra that don't work

Maybe if you buy their driver's door switch... The ones I ordered don't fit anywhere but the passenger front door... The switch part cover is too wide to fit any of the other switches

I mentioned trail toys since he's a vendor on here. Great product for the metal pieces, I used it on both my trucks. I don't think its thick enough for the flares. I used door trim from autozone on my flares which has held up surprisingly well over the last seven years.

Definitely quieter. I now notice all the popping and creaking sounds from my front dash that I only vaguely noticed before. Does not sound like I have a rear window slightly open anymore.

BUT...others have commented that the foam will eventually start to make noise like styrofoam rubbing against styrofoam which sucks. I do know from experience that the “Large Gap” foam - that I used, does stay a little softer long term...hoping I didn’t create a bigger problem.

After a bunch of cussing, cutting, drilling n joining the sway bar delete club...finally got my bumper on

 

Made my first successful haul into the hinterlands of Connecticut to bring back a nice mid-century modern dresser to my apartment on Long Island, NY. A mass of moving blankets, shrink wrap and ratchet straps kept the load secure as I "cruised" down I-95 going a steady 53 MPH. Taco handled like a champ the whole time- about 80 miles each way, my furthest venture to date with my truck. Loading up the dresser was the easy part... the painful and arduous up-3-flights-of-stairs-to-get-it-into-my-apartment part... not so much. All in all, was a fun day.

 

not a bad approach however I have no desire to have to go back to negotiate for something that was supposed to be done, if I can't trust the service to be done the first time I dont have any desire to continue to do business there..I am a retired facilities manager for a large chip manufacture, if my "customers" (the manufacturing plant folks) didnt trust my work or my word I wud have been history....just my opinion not busting on you .....

 

There's "real" rebar in there and random pieces of pipe being used as rebar. Concrete was poured all over it.
