Fingers crossed the problems are something simple. :fingerscrossed:

Heading to Austin-ish in a few. Behind schedule, but it can happen on a Saturday morning when it is for leisure. Rally Ready Off-Road Raptor course.

Morning Josh. I think the passenger side turbo drain is too short and needs to be extended. The trans might just need to be restab the converter.

I hope so. I have someone one helping me work through it but any advice would be awesome.

Morning Sohail. I feel it right in 3000-3200 rpm and then it takes off like a rocket and it’s way tuned down. I have to say it’s tough not wanting to drive this all the time. I ordered some breakin oil to do an oil change next week and then drive it around some more. After this oil change I think it’s a two more and it’s officially broken in

Figured out some of the smoking issues other than flipping the passenger side turbo drain fitting. The catch can had a big kink in the intake manifold hose so I rerouted the plumping. Not too keen on the shape of the catch can but at least it’s doing its job. Next is draining some oil and having it tested at black stone to make sure there’s no bearing material. Also while I’m in there I’m going to swap the drain line fittings.

    how it was

Yea there’s a few things that got overlooked but when you only have 51 miles on the motor I get it. Here’s the fitting that needs to be flipped too. The 90 needs to be up on the turbo and then the extension

I wish! Oil doesn’t come for a few days and I am still working out the trans issue. I may have found it though. Popped the dipstick out and it was gushing fluid. Not sure if it’s supposed to do that with my bigger trans cooler or the shop way over filled my trans

At least you have a dipstick. It has a level indicator on it correct?

Checked the trans fluid and it’s low so I’ll need to get a some trans fluid this week. I’m thinking the shop might’ve overfilled the converter and that’s why it’s leaking out the weepholes. I’m also going to take it to a trans shop to get it checked out to be safe.

Got some oil out of the block to ship off to get analyzed on Tuesday too. Still need to flip the fittings on the turbos but it makes sense to put the 90* elbow on the blow and just do the extension off the turbo side

Ended up flipping the passenger side drain tube on the turbo. They had a 90* bend at the turbo which was causing oil to back up. Could be why it smoked so much. Took a video and it smokes way less
