I have been looking for stock TRD alloys for awhile and I came across a set with about 250 miles on them off a 2010. Come to find out after talking to the girl that the sensors are also still in the rims and they come with lugnuts. There are a few small scrapes on the inner edge of the rims apparently from when the tires were removed. Not really noticeable. anyways, I offered her $200 hoping she would meet me in the middle and make the deal. She says she won't budge from $300. I think $300 is a fair deal regardless. What would you guys do? Also I am in North Dakota so these are a little tougher for me to come by than you guys on the coast. If she is a member here and sees this I will feel like a total ass:D

I found that most don't know how to negotiate on CL. I offered a guy $50 for a bed mat that he was asking 85 for. I was hoping he would counter offer at 65 or 75 or something. He flatly refused. I go back to CL and he had dropped his price to $55. I would've bought it for $70. So I bought it from him for $55.

I know I always list things a little higher than what I really want to get. Thats how private sales go. everyone wants to think their getting a deal (including me).

I think it is too but I was just hoping she would come down a little. I think she has been trying to sell them since September so that is why I made the low offer.

    .

I have an almost new set of 4 off of a 2009 TRD at 12,500 miles (no TPMS) and would sell them to you for $150.00 if you lived closer to Atlanta area. Shipping is very expensive due to their weight.

Started to post them here, but need to go to storage and photo them.

Good luck and IMO, you most likely need to visually inspect any wheel and personally pick them up.

Yeah the shipping costs is the reason I've been looking local. Not a lot of options around here. The wheels are about 120 miles from me but my folks live there so they could make the deal. She sent some detailed pics. I'll try to post them.

Here's the pics. She said they all have scuffs from the tires being removed but the pictured one is the worst. I don't think its that bad.

That looks like from the wheel weight being removed, hard to not have that happen when taking the tires off.

decent deal... i bought my '10 TRD 16" wheels for $350 (should have been $300 but had to get lug nuts) but they had stock tires on them, under 700 miles on wheels/tires. No TPMS on mine. You do realize though that you'll still have to pay the $100ish to get the TPMS codes programmed into your vehicle as they are not auto-recognized.

Yeah I do and I'm not gonna go in right away and do that. I had just been keeping my eyes open for wheels because eventually I will sell the truck and I want everything to be there for the next owner. I wish I had started researching things before I bought mine but now it has been over a year since I purchased it and it was not from a Toyota dealership so I am guessing they wouldn't help me out.

Hell, I sold my 2010 TRD OR wheels for 300.00 with lugs, no tpms, no tires. I offered them for 360.00 but told the first guy that came to look at it that if he had 300 cash he could have them. I didn't want to hassle with working the price, so he whipped out the 300 right away hoping I would'nt change my mind.
So, its up to you if you want to buy them or not. Just don't kick yourself later on.
