Howdy @CrippledOldMan :hattip: Glad you're with us!

My back and neck have been jacked since I was 15 (now 50). Wasn't until we bought a Tempurpedic Cloud that I got anything resembling good sleep. They are expensive but have a 20 year warranty and I think you can still sleep on it for 90days and return for refund with no questions asked.

Best mattress I've ever slept on!!

For all of you fellas who struggle to iron shirts I have a few solutions that work really well.

    1. Dont iron it. Steam it. Rowenta makes a steamer that is handheld and works really well.

    2. Before you iron it, steam it. This helps some of those more stubborn wrinkles release easier and generally speeds up the ironing process.

    3. When drying your clothes, dont overload the dryer. Typcially, washers are made to handle larger loads (giggity) because the mechanical action needed for cleaning is different than the mechanical action for drying.

Drying clothes properly needs two things: Correct heat temp and "drop". Drop is what happens when the clothes travel from the bottom of the dryer to the top and then fall. This fall needs to happen at about a 75-90 degree angle to efficiently dry and reduce wrinkles. The way to test this is to toss some clothes in, start the dryer then open it after it is up to full speed and take note of the angle of "drop". If you have the correct heat and angle of drop, you wont get as many or as hard of wrinkling in your clothes.

***Correct temp and drop may reduce wrinkling so much that you dont need to iron at all.....**

For more of your dressier clothes, you can either utilize temp and drop while also purchasing shirts/pants that are designated as "wrinkle-free". While this is contested, the reason people dont believe in "Wrinkle-free" advertising is because they CRAM THE FUCKING DRYER FULL AND GET ZERO DROP.

If you still have issues, honestly, take your shit to the dry cleaner. They will properly care for the items by washing them on the correct cycle and temp with correct load sizes (giggity). They will also dry them properly. When it comes to pressing them, dry cleaners will steam the items out before they press them. There is also a small hint of starch in the detergents or chemicals that puts a better finish on the items and protects the fabric from the heat.

Feeling much better! Thank you! :hattip:

Hope everything is good with you and that you're finding some time to get off the grid like you talked about?

Getting ready to head out of the office in just a few. Gonna pick up the Mrs. at home and head down to Phoenix. Early flight tomorrow so we booked a hotel room close to the airport for tonight. Gonna meet our youngest for dinner at one of our favorite breweries and chill for the evening. Will be Ambergris Caye tomorrow afternoon! :dancingbacon::broccoli::kona:

I stash an extra set of nail clippers in mine, that the rest of my family has NO CLUE about, because they never put shit back where they got it from.

I'm gonna start hiding my Dove chocolate in there too.

(Now that I've written these posts, I realize how "in touch with my feminine side" I am. I'm ok with it.)

Do I look like I have a vagina?

    Dishes are for chicks.

I cook the meat, like a fucking artist. Artists don't do dishes.

Although, I have done dishes....for a living even. Would you like some tips and tricks?

My favorite trick is to NEVER BUY REAL DINNER WEAR. Paper plates only. Toss em when done. Easy peasy. Always use metal utensils. Drop em in a bucket and let em soak overnight. Fill a second bucket with hot bleach water and rinse after a gentle scrub. Final rinse in luke warm water. Set out to dry.
