Go test drive a 2020, you won't have any of those issues.

    Sounds like a PL1 issue.

PL1 = pilot (surplus parts listing) ie... Driver error :D

I should go harass dealers and see who wants to trade me straight up for a 2020.

I just dont want to pull all my stuff off my truck and put it on a new one..

do it...any and all issues you notice that aren’t attributable to not having the slightest idea how to drive a manual transmission will disappear!!!

If I have the same issues in a 2020, it most definitely means I can’t drive. It’s definitely not Toyota’s fault. They should obviously have everything perfect after 4 years :bananadead: then again some claim 2016 was flawless..

2016 was awful! Night and day with the 2018. Plus I am not driving a giant kazoo down the road.

This sucker has learned that all the "sensory crap" can be turned off if you really feel the need to. Meh, it's not a big deal. I mean, I've seen PCS disable itself like twice because of really heavy snow.
I guess I've been lucky then lol?

I wanted my 17 tacoma because it didnt have all the TSS stuff. Now that i have the tundra with it, i kinda wish my tacoma had it... at least the radar cruise.

It’s life changing for road trips.

it’s one of those things you don’t realize until you have it

You know that is isn't good humping a radar device too often.

I'm still in the meh camp. I'd rather not have the extra gizmos. I had a rental with ACC and it is somewhat okay. Definitely not life changing. After getting home, there hasn't been a time when I thought that it would be good to have it.

My friends do call me Trog.

Gizmos are great when they work, not so much when they don’t.

I'd trade you if your truck wasn't imaginary... :anonymous:

Amen. Although the parking sensors look like headaches for bumper swaps and such. Glad i don't have them.

And my horizon is hopefully 15 to 20 years out there. I have enough questions about some of my basic Taco gizmos making it that long.

My tundra doesn’t have any rear sensors so it won’t be a problem.

taco has BSM and parking sensors. I thought one of mine was broke but it’s been working again. It’s too bad they aren’t in the taillights like other manufacturers
