    Hello,

I have been looking for a Pro grille for my 2019 and although I can find the sensor garnish on Amazon, the grille (OEM or knock-off) seems to be unavailable on most Canadian retails. Any recommendations as I would prefer to avoid ordering from our southern neighbors due to the high border terrifs which jack up the overall costs.

    Thanks for any assistance,

I bought mine a the local dealership in B.C., Jim Pattison. It’s wasn’t a problem at the time. They just had them behind the counter. Mine is non-TSS, so maybe that’s a factor.

Sorry don't have an answer for you. But have you considered changing out the chrome bezel? Makes the grille look much better.

My buddy with 19 OR went to the dealer to ask about the pro grille, he said it was like 750$, just insane. They wanted 300$ something dollars for the garnish. I just laughed.

    This.

I was gonna derp the bezel temporary but i like how it looks now. No way im getting the pro grille now, even if it was cheaper. I might paint the grille itself matte black, as its sometimes too shiny in the sun for my liking.

90% of tacos where i live are rocking the pro grille, too played out over here.

Edit: plus i dont want to fuck with TSS, they will deny your warranty if something goes wrong.

Painted the cheese grater instead.. Pro grille is nice enough but every flat-brim-bro has one in town already.

Yeah fair enough I have been toying with the idea of just ordering the black bezel but again its about the same price as the knock-off pro grille. Anyway might just remove it and plasti-dip it, looks great in the photo and i am going to be plasti-dipping my Tacoma side and rear badges anyway.

Another fan of the black ring. Too many around me running the Bro Pro grille, I had to do something different.

    Thanks.

Yea i just dipped it, might order SR bezel in the future.

Have you seen 2020 SR grille? I think it looks better than the pro and the sensor is behind the badge, so i dont believe it will void warranty, i might be wrong though.

    Good luck man.

The ONLY downside (maybe up side) is when I wash my truck. When I'm drying off the grille, have to finger bang the grille about 100 times to dry all those holes. I'm ocd with the finger bang .

The original cheesegreater actually looks really good with flat black. Ive seen a couple around here. Looks better than the pro imo.

I honestly barely even wash the grille when i clean the truck, i want it to be a bit more dull i guess. I know, im bad.

The rest of the truck though, i make sure is spotless.

    I have a leaf blower. That's a great idea.

I'm still going to bang it tho.

How far are you from the border? It’s not the duties or customs fees that companies like ups or fedex rape us with it’s their brokerage fees. I have stuff shipped all the time to a receiver close to the border and go pick it up and all I ever get charged is tax.

I got mine from Tacoma Town. They are a Canadian Toyota dealership with a site full of OEM common Tacoma upgrades. OEM Garnish I bought off eBay but that was when they where under $100... BTW the 16-17 grille fits, and is usually cheaper. you just remove that blank and put the sensor garnish

Yeah not a bad idea, might just go that route on Ebay, still contemplating just going with the black bezel at this point as well. Thanks for all the info guys.
