My ma tells me the neighbors are gonna complain and im like well i havent talked to them in 10 years so if they wanna strike up some convo on my exhaust tell em to go right ahead. Enjoy loud exhausts while you can before everything is electric lol. My V8 lexus will crackle loudly past 900 rpms and it still makes me smile driving around town lol

Used to have those on the 75 Camaro. Blew all the dust out from under the car on startup.

I used to run those mufflers back in the 70's and 80's . A trick or modification we did to make them louder was tape off one end and fill it full of water . Let it set over night then dump the water out

Doing this softened the fiberglass matte packing thus making them much louder . The sound these muffler made behind a 13 .1:1comp 468 BBC with a 600" Solid flat tappet cam was music to my ears

We just squirted water up into them while they were still hot .Seemed to do the trick. Loved those things. Obnoxiously loud but in a good way.

I'm going to be running a newer variation of them on my Camaro , 3.5" Dia 8" long Schoenfeld race muffler bolted to the header collector

I bought a new to me 996 Ducati a few years back and the first day that I bought it I was in and out of the driveway just enjoying it and running to show my friends. My neighbors called the law at around 1:00pm. I had several encounters with these people, they would never come talk to me just call the police. My daughter was washing her car with her radio playing during the day when the police showed up. Best thing that ever happened was them moving. I would even invite them to crawfish boils during the day and they wouldn’t come but still call the damn law.

Drone can be that bad. I am one who can appreciate a loud vehicle but was starting to get annoyed with my Impreza. I straight piped it but added a glasspack. Actually sounded really good but had tons of drone while driving. Couldn't have a conversation with my wife or kids. Starting to think that may not be such a bad thing now LOL.

I feel you on the appreciating loud vehicles thing. I love loud cars but I'm kind of over it for myself as in I wouldn't do it to my personal cars anymore.
When I'm next to a loud sti or coyote mustang at a stop light, I turn my music off so I can hear it take off from a stop.
Maybe if I ever get a weekend car I'll have a loud car again.

You might as well just do the icepick or screwdriver mod if you want to go full out rice on this truck.
