    Hello Maryland!

    I tell people that "I am a refugee from Maryland. I escaped across the river (to Virginia) in 2000 and I haven't looked back", but I do cross the river occasionally. I would be open to meeting up just about anywhere in Maryland if there is a group of Taco fans there. I also hear that sometimes you do things in WV, which might be easier as "I can see West Virginia from my porch".

    I am from Loudoun County, Virginia outside of Purcellville. I bought at Voodoo Blue 2020 Tacoma Offroad Premium AT DCLB on Saturday from Koons in Westminster, MD.


    When I went to go test drive it, I didn't realize that the Offroad Double Cab even CAME in a "long" bed. It is only a bit longer, but it should be helpful for carrying my KMX Viper Trike which barely fits into my Colorado bed and doesn't leave room for other bikes.

    I picked it up on Saturday, and now, two days later it is still completely stock. LOL. It could use a bed cover of some kind and a trailer ball. It might get some kind of a bike/trike mount for the bed. Those pop-up tents that levitate over the roof look really cool, but I doubt I will go that far.

    I would be especially interested in seeing a Diamondback cover (either SE or HD, probably black) if anyone has one. The idea of mounting the trike and/or 2 bikes on top of the cover is appealing. Total weight might be as much as 100# on top.

    Yes, I was just messin' around with ya. I had a weird thing too this weekend. The time in my truck wasn't quit in sync with my phone. At 9:30 am the display in the truck was displaying 17:30.

    When I was looking around, this truck was at Westminster already. It may have been traded for from Easton, but not on my behalf. It had 2 miles on it before I test drove it. There might be another one in Easton.

    Sorry to hear about your Sport. I take it that it was a long bed? If not, the cover wouldn't fit. I will look into that cover type before I bother you for more details, but my wife would probably like it having a less expensive cover than the Diamondback.

    How well does it lock? How well does it keep rain out?

    It doesn't lock per say but if it is closed and your tailgate is closed and locked you can't get it open.
    All tonneau covers leak to some extent. If you have a bed mat you don't have to worry about any of them.

    I purchased a 2019 Tacoma with a 6 foot bed from Westminster and I can say it was a good experience, as far as buying a vehicle can go. Starting to put mods on it and broke down and got a Diamondback SE. I do not regret it.
