I really don’t know how women put up with the gobs of shit constantly thrown at them.

Women’s health issues are constantly being made out to be huge ethical issues (birth control, abortion, now they make too much T).

PED use is controversial but largely ignored in male sports. We know professionals use, we just shove it under the rug to enjoy the entertainment.
But OMG any tiny thing occurs in women’s sports its a major fucking crisis.

Low bar is hard on shoulders and elbows. Duffalo bar helps take some of the stress off, but other than that i have no idea how to make it better other than stretch and ice.

Thumbless for sure helps. Also tried the talon grip but I felt I was gunna drop the bar like that. I can feel a 500+ squat coming soon.

I kind of do a mix between both I suppose. The bar is in high bar position but I'm not as upright as the Olympic guys I see doing high bar. My torso is almost in between high bar and low bar.

Because my glutes and hams are stronger than my quads.

Low bar is also more favorable for me because the demand for ankle mobility is less due to the decreased shin angle of the low bar position.

I definitely use a lot of quads in my squats. Idk if this is considered high bar 100% though. My start position definitely is but in the hole it's not as upright as some high bar squatters.

I can do low bar but I just don't like it as much. Never had an issue moving weight with high bar.

I hate high bar. Just finished a 4 week block of them and never want to see them on a program again. I’m not sure what it is about them that makes me hate them so much. Low bar is way better :cookiemonster:

I did squats with this chick the other day who does low bar. She gets her back damn near parallel with the floor in the hole. Looks nuts in person.

Definitely high bar. The torso angle is determined by body proportions and mobility.

    I’m with this lady ^

Sad story... I finished squatting a couple weeks ago and had a physical therapist tell me that I needed to “look up at the ceiling” while squatting rather than maintaining the neutral head/neck position I use because I am “putting my spine out of place”. Picture the girl in your pic trying to look at the ceiling. This dude is a Dr. of physical therapy. Let that sin in...

Yeahhhhh even I know not to do that lol I think that's a common misconception people have for all lifts. I hear people say the same thing about deadlifts, yet the top deadlifters say to keep your head down.

Low bar must be a short person thing. I squat the same as you. Minus 200 pounds.

Both squats and deadlifts I keep my gaze pretty neutral. I like having a mirror in front of me and I lock eyes with my peen, which is of course at full mast during the entire set

Same. Neutral on squat but sometimes on really heavy pulls my head comes up just a tad.

You’re both wrong. The DPT at my gym says to do some exorcist neck bending to look at the ceiling.

Tough topic. But I agree with the POV that no natural born male should compete against "born women"

It's just not fair. Just naturally growing up as a dude gives you advantages that stay even after transitioning and suppressing. Women would be forced out or would have to juice like crazy. Or that one woman now had to take suppressants, etc.

Anyways, love to all the trans ppl. But can't rob Peter to pay Paul, IMHO.
