I tried to do a color match on my Spyder LED tails and it seems like as soon as the lenses get hot enough to soften the glue, they start to warp. I baked the driver side and got it off but it's warped now and I'm not sure if I should just ditch the project or what. Is there a way to get it back to its normal shape? Also, what temp do most people do for the BHLM and tails?

Sure. Hopefully you can see it, it sunk in where the reverse reflector is and along the outer side.

Haha I actually just watched your vid. Great in depth retrofit guide. It looks like the OEM headlights can handle 275, but I warped these at 245, they must be thinner or made of a different material. Maybe I ought to get a thermometer since my oven is an old school one from the late 90s and might not be accurate.

Bump. Anyone know a fix or should I just ditch these lights?

No, I decided just to toss them. I didn't feel like putting warped lights on my truck, so I figured that whenever I do a projector retrofit I'll give it another go with some OEM taillights if I can find some at a decent price, maybe at a lower temp first.
