    Gotcha. It's growing pretty quickly down here. I live right near that Double Diamond Interchange they're building for the I-5 ramp. Can't wait till it's done and traffic can get back to being (semi) normal

    Im in tumwater right near Olympia toyota for now. My family gets here in late june and we gotta find a place. Its so damn expensive here. Although i just left DC so same crap.

    Yeah, there's Fish Tale (now Leavenworth Biers), 3 Magnets, McMenamins and Well80 (all downtown). They're gonna be building a Ninkasi pub in Tumwater sometime soon, too.

    Property values are definitely getting outrageous down here. We had to fight with the County Assessor to adjust our annual property taxes - we bought our place less than 3 years ago and it's appreciated $160k (according to the county) o_O

    The greater Seattle area is much more expensive than D.C now. Median cost of a house in D.C. is like 600k. Bellevue is around 900k.

    Outside of the I5/405 corridor though you can find much more affordable housing.

    Yeah but the problem is the Army doesn't give me that cost difference yet. I was getting $2800 in DC now only $2300? My wife and I said the same thing. Its just as expensive or more here especially with gas prices being higher.
