Liter bike huh

Had a ZX9R, and only owned it for about a year before I sold it.

i grew up with one of these in the garage. Its a badass bike.
my father got clocked at 200 MPH on lake shore drive when he was riding with his cop buddies. They bet him he couldnt hit 200. he made alot of money that day lol.

My father quit riding after a 6X6 fell off a truck and hit his bike. Somehow he kept the fucker up straight, but i remember seeing both wheels dented 8" in and the front forks bent. he fixed the bike up and sold it.

 

Looks like ive got a bigish recall coming where we're replacing engine blocks on new 4cylinder camrys. ravs and hybrids.. yay

I had a real close call on the I5 (long highway that stretches from so-cal to nor-cal) when I was going back to base after I went to visit people in my now-hometown.

I5 can have 5 lanes at a time; I remember one night moving over as a truck came racing up from behind me, with no lights on at all, and almost side swiped me. He had crossed several lanes and wasn't even slowing down or signaling to switch. Had I moved over a bit earlier or later, it could've been a different story. I had looked over my shoulder to check my corner and the headlights from those behind me made the truck with no lights on at all look invisible.

yea, if i get a bike i probably will limit useage to the track honestly. people out there are too distracted/assholes. that and pot hole ridden roads.

We just got a recall issued a few days ago for all 2500 and 3500's; it's for the valve bodies in the 68RFE transmission.

Not sure what years are affected though exactly.

 

I used it to "test" whether I would like a flat black hood panel. It's lasted pretty well, but not a substitute for real paint!!

 

Whoa wut??? Do you know anything more about it? Why? What happened?

 

SO is crazy sick, going to tend to her for a minute and since she's at the house, means a half hr drive each way

You're a better man than I, or braver, or perhaps just desperate haha. Going near sick people for any reason is a major no. I was known to leave classes in college if lots of people were coughing or sniffling or just one person was a lot.
