Im up for some hard trails ,not to familier with the west desert, seems like desert roads when i messed around out there, little moab would be a good challenge, not to far down redwood road,MMP kind of out of way then
if some one knows some good trails on west side ,while roll miller first ,then tackle trails
    oct 16/17 works ,or 23/24

What is this little Moab you speak of? I was out in Delle a few weeks ago and the mountains on the north side of I80 could offer a good challenge. Note I have only been there once and it was on a dirt bike.

Never been there, but from what I understand, its more like a playground for 4x4. Not really any trails, but more along the lines of obstacles one can attempt.

As far as location goes, it is at N40 04.474 W112 02.679 (just paste that into google maps)

If you do decide you want to check it out one day, let me know, as I'd like to as well.

Just a minor update for trail conditions around me...

Today (Sunday), the roads to the lakes behind Francis Peak in Farmington Canyon are covered in snow and where there isn't snow, there's pretty slick mud. They aren't closed down yet, and Jeep and I made it up there just fine, but its really not something I'd try at alone. With the cold and snow/mud all around the lake, it really didn't make for a fantastic end result either. Make sure to take a Jacket. Lots of 4-wheelers were up there today.

The main roads from Farmington to Bountiful and up to Francis Peak itself are still fine to drive on. Aspens are all changing colors, so its quite nice. Even if you dont go all the way up to Francis Peak, now is the time to take the Bountiful to Farmington loop along Skyline. If you have someone you want to take up there, probably only a few more weeks to do so.

American Fork Canyon is all sorts of reds and oranges now. Took the loop from American Fork to Midway and back up Big Cottonwood to get back home a few weeks ago. I'd probably skip the Big Cottonwood path back, but went at a bad time that the sun was in my eyes, making it nearly impossible to see the road, let alone the scenery.

Went up to Forest Lake in American Fork on Wednesday. It was raining pretty good, which made for some very slick mud up the trail. The rain eroded a lot, so the rocks stick out quite a bit more than they usually do and a few more/deeper trenches. Not overly hard, but clearance can be an issue at times, even more so than usual. The flat in front of the lake is still closed off to motor vehicles as well.

The last run I did (Forrest Lake w/Manlaan) caused some pretty severe leaf spring squeaking to occur, which hasn't gone away. It was wet, muddy, and there was plenty of articulation. The Tacoma is known for this, perhaps that is also what you are experiencing?
Do you know where the squeaking is coming from?

Yeah the last Utah run I was at involved some good mudding and dirt. I have a pretty nasty squeak as well. I took a power washer to me leafs and a bunch of dirt came out but the squeak remains. I was with Matt the other day but we didnt really look into it. It can also be my UCA as well cause that caused squeaking in the past as well. But it sounds like its coming more from the rear. It could still be the leafs for all I know.

Mine also sounds like its coming from the rear. But mainly just when I stop and go

Oh okay. Mine starts to squeak after I have been driving around for a while and it only really squeaks when I am turning or pulling into a driveway.

Yeah, that sounds like the leafs alright, that is also when mine squeaks a lot. Try rocking the bed side to side (standing in it is easiest, although you will look silly).

Hey, sorry Ive been trying to follow along with all of your comments. I think some got off topic there for awhile. Anyway, have you guys decided to have another meet & greet before winter shows up? Its been pretty nice here and is usually a lot nicer in SLC. Just wondering if Ive missed something. Thanks :)
