Army Green thread: let’s keep it green!

I like everything but one thing.

 

I am still adding to my truck, bumpers are next, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Waiting for them to come in.

That you have taken delivery of that beautiful AG PRO.

And I have to wait 4 more weeks to enjoy mine.

 

I’ve been waiting a while to see these wheels on an AG truck! Looks killer. What size tires? ...after looking closer I’m gonna guess 285/70/17.

Hang in there!! You'll love it when it does get here!! But I understand the anxiety.

I was REALLY fortunate that my friend at the dealership where I bought decided to put in the allocation request back in December even though I'd told him when we'd spoken in November that I was going to wait until later in the spring to order. He figured that he'd surely be able to sell it even if I didn't opt to take it. When I texted him to tell him in January that I'd change my mind, he called and told me it was scheduled for a January build. That made my wait much shorter than I'd anticipated.

 

Well.... I can't complain too much. I just ordered it 3 weeks back. At least I'm gonna get an AG PRO.
Many will be sh*t outta lick with the on off 2 month limited production.

 

Yup, you are right about that!

 

Guess I'm kinda lucky then. To put in a order mid January. And get an allocated truck with a build date before the end of February.

 

Yeah we are all in the hurry up and wait category although my fake VIN just went non existent so am hoping that means mine is being built!

 

Yes!! Your dealer should see the VIN pop on their status screen any time now!!

 

Means I need to hurry up and make a decision if I am going to keep my Toyota Tonneau off my 17 or get an aftermarket one...

 

yup, had mine since October. Ordered it and was here is 2 weeks. Of course, they already had it on order and I just bought it in advance!

 

Thought you were going to get the AG lettering?

I had originally thought I would but changed my mind - wanted to stay consistent with the rest of the red detail on the seats, shift knob, etc. I like the look of the red.

 

This on again off again 2 months production of Army Green. I wonder if this happened with other 1st year PRO colors?

 

Personally I think this is an even higher demand as it is a model revision as well, I love the AG but the real reason I am switching is the changes to the Taco itself... LED Headlights, Android Auto, Passenger Door Access, Power Driver Seat (not sure peoples gripe on this one)
