So $3,400 plus $300 freight for a long bed single door on each side right? With the single door what do you think the ball park weight capacity is while driving and parked. Also what would the lead time be with color match? Is freight any cheaper to commercial address?

Freight is same either way with the brokers we’ve negotiated with. Weight should land about 180 lbs. paint match is right now end of April due to order and production timelines plus ocean freight from South Africa.

I think you misunderstood me about the weight question. How much weight can the canopy support on top of it with the single door on each side? I recall one of your posts you saying you lose strength of the canopy with a single doors on a long bed. Now with the long bed side single doors is the door about the length of the canopy like on the short bed one? My plan is to put a BushCompany Alpha hardshell RTT with their 270 awning and two people on top of it. With one full length door on each side like on the short bed

No worries, sorry for the confusion.
The weight capacity stays the same whether the doors are open at not - 700 lbs dynamic load (while driving) and twice that while static (parked), although that is above the rating of the bed itself so I wouldn’t recommend testing that. Lol.
The single door longbed we rate to only 500 lbs dynamic and 1000 lbs static.

You’ll be totally fine either way with that setup.

Man that’s a great question you beat me to the punch. I was going to ask the same question.
Adventure Ready really should put out an install video of how they install these. And what they used to install to keep the bed watertight and what they do with the gaps on the bulkhead, Or as tight as it possibly can be. With the install video with details I’m willing to bet that more people would probably buy these and have them shipped to them. As that’s what has me on the fence about pulling the trigger on one of these.

Where those huge gaps are at the front bedrail, I fixed mine by building my own square tube but wider, used the same plastic endcaps and was able to run a thin bead of caulking. Not the gobs of sealant one needs to water seal that 1/2 gap. I don't expect water/dust proof, but a decent seal to keep everything dry and clean is a bonus.

Not sure I understand. The canopy seals all the way around the bed rail with an existing ore-installed gasket. The Tacoma bed has gaps between the front, sides, and tailgate from the factory. No canopy on earth can solve that. Sorry guys!

You are right about the gaps. Toyota did not do us any favors with this the third GEN beds. From what I’ve heard It’s a pain in the butt to plug the gap’s. didn’t know if you guys had a way of sealing those up from your experience with the install of these. And if I’m understanding your post correctly the canopy comes with Rubber seal over along the bottom of it?
