I saw this at the Harrisburg Outdoor show. They're made in York Haven, Pa. They're lightweight & built for off-road use. All powder coated aluminum construction. It looked nice in person.

It's nice. Good prices on ammo. Had a good selection of P80's too. They have everything outdoor related, camping, hunting, atvs, boats, archery ect...

Cool, I will have to give it some thought. PM me when you are ready to post it for sale.

I have several friends who are into welding, so I am contemplating building a custom hitch mounted trike carrier. If I do that, then putting the 2 or 3 upright bikes into the bed will be a lot easier, and then it doesn't matter as much what type of bed cover I use. The idea of mounting the trike onto a hard cover (like the Diamondback) has some appeal, but I go back and forth on that.

    My trike is like this:
    https://www.utahtrikes.com/ARTICLE-97.html

So if I hitch mount it, I would need 2 strong arms to extend out and hold it vertically by the cross bars.
If I "deck" mount it, either to the bed or bed cover, then I just need 3 channels to hold the wheels, with some kind of system to lock it down securely.

I haven't actually put the KMX Viper Blue against the Toyota Voodoo Blue, but I think they are going to look cool together.

Right now, I only have you and one other guy interested but yea, I am putting it up for sale as soon as you or he makes up their mind. I'm not in any rush though, and have the room to store it. Basically, when I list it I am just going to wait as long as it takes.

This is a lot of cool info! Thanks! So first, I have to ask, if you get a Diamond Back, are all of the bikes are going on top of it? Most of those covers allow for some ingress into the bed but not complete access. There is a hinge point that is fixed, and most likely, in the way. So yea, you may be able to get all the bikes on top of it but that's possible with the Bak Revolver too. With a little ingenuity.

    https://youtu.be/XbosA0Ad_2w?t=311

I thought this was funny as hell!!!

For me, the least to most versatile type of covers (depending on what you do with it) are the solid fiberglass type, then the two door type like the Diamond Back, or a hard tri fold, quad fold and then the roll up type.

One main thing about the Bak is that when rolled up you can still use the rear view mirror to see behind you or keep an eye on your cargo. Because of how tight it rolls up, I could easily see you getting 3 regular bikes and a trike in the bed. I even have a bed extender I can sell you cheap. Toyota brand.

Material will depict the amount of security they offer. Having one that is metal and that rolls up out of the way is even better. Locks are great. Having one that is locked by the tailgate, especially if you have the electronic tailgate lock/unlock feature, means no additional key. It would be easy to add some serious eye bolts for cable locks if you wanted to be sure they stayed in the open bed.

And too, your truck is brand spanking new, so if you want to add only brand spanking new things no one understands that more than me. And this cover is not brand new. It was on my truck for two years.

Think about it. If you need someone to help you pro/con them ask me. I overthink the hell outta everything.

If there would have been a way I could have modified it for my new SB I would have in a heartbeat. I even looked for trades thinking maybe someone that had one on a SB got a LB truck and wanted to sell it.

He's old, and mostly senile. He chases me off his lawn all the time.

Of course I'm usually there unannounced and indecent.
