I’m hoping to find a 20ish footer, double axle, with a slide and no bunks in a few years. Be about perfect to live in April- whenever the snows too deep to leave it on the mountain.

Get the mini cube woodstove or build one out of propane tank with a cook top. The unsolved problem of water storage and transfer in trailers during winter makes me rethink the whole wet vs dry camp trailers.

Yep, just fill the lines and you’re good.

Better stop talking about campers before the Overlanders chime in.

I could live up top of the mountain range like that, like Park City, etc. That's how Boulder Colorado is too. A lot of cities in Colorado up actually in the mountain ranges. Freaking awesome place to live. Unreal just driving through even.
Sweet pic, brought plenty of great places back to mind:cool:

I know right. I have extra slave cylinders after my fork collapsed at the cheap plastic front piece and couldn't find just the fork. The metal fork just folds over from metal fatigue eventually.

Yeah, I've never thought of that. So those super heavy grab clutches that require pressure plate of double strength will definitely wear that fork out faster huh? Man, our little mods affect a lot more than I realize long term

I'm surprised no one caught that when I wrote about my Taco's clutch hopping mornings. I saved my last folded clutch fork as a pattern to Fab an all steel replacement but was told the plastic had a function but no one knows what it is. I'm thinking designed obsolescence?

Nah, if it ran 15 years than that was more than it was likely designed for. It was prolly about dumb weight savings or costs
Anything over 15 years or so and you're on your own, kinda. You gotta be a DIYer because even stealership service depts aren't gonna be working on 15 year old stuff much because everyone gets a new car every 3-5 years.

On you're own also meaning. Toyota intended service life of truck was likely met around 10-15 years. If you get more out of it, that's icing on the cake. So you see how these tacos over 20 yrs old and people spending 10k to buy em... Its well out of its intended life, will obviously have more life than 10 yrs if taken care of.... But just knowing how the manufacturer saw it/sees the truck long term can really help folks perspective.
Lots of impulsive/compulsive buying goes on with first gen tacos. Cracks me up

But electronics and domestic crapbox econo cars? Yes absolutely I believe those are engineered and built with planned obsolescence in mind. And I'm sure some aspects of any car. But yeah :D
