Thanks! Yes, I was in Boulder, Leadville, then Missoula MT. Glad to be back. I missed wearing just a t-shirt and the ability to work on my cars year round.

Yeah...Seasons are nice to have but definitely can be the limiting factor at times. I’m SB is gorgeous and the weather is amazing but, it’s darn near impossible to own a home here. I’m glad your happy to be back...we got things nice and green again for ya.

Ha! Yeah house prices are insane here. Living in Leadville and Missoula, I could purchase a house no problem if I worked for hit. It’s a fantasy here. But a fun one for the time being.

has there been a SB meet and greet recently? I went to one probably 5 years ago.

Never been to one in town. Usually do all the projects with other members unless it’s welding. What are you looking to have done at the shop? I’m sure someone will have a good recommendation for you.

Ok, so my bro bought a steel Pelfreybuilt front bumper off this guy on TW. After he mounted it up, it seems like it’s not fitting properly. Any feedback you can provide is helpful. Here is a photo of how it’s fitting:

Same. Looks better than most. Aftermarket bumpers never get rid of all the seam. If it bothers you a ton lift it and weld it. I'll weld it for you free.

The gap between the bumper & the body, the white of the front fender showing, etc. That’s normal?

Yeah, for body flex. You can probably tighten it up if you loosen the bolts and use a jack to put upward pressure on the bumper as you tighten it back down, but once the body flexes you could rub and/or damage the leading edge of the fenders. When I had my white truck, I painted all that exposed stuff back there black and it made a huge difference visually.

Have your brother paint these things black and it'll make a huge difference. That's the thing with white trucks. When parts get exposed that aren't meant to be exposed it looks a like janky because they're so bright. Come to think of it, I did the same to my black truck because the paint faded out in some areas and some of it only had that e-coating primer and it bugged me.

Thanks for the offer Juan.
I’ll run it past him but, he normally prefers to do all the work on his truck.

Gotcha, I will pass this info along to him. Thank you for the input GHOST SHIP!
