    there are various opinions on those deflectors. it looks cool but bit old school.

    what i would like to do is to install CLEAR VINYL on my hood and front bumper but i just cant seem to find the right material.

    the clear bra material is just too thick and does not conform to the shape under it well. its very difficult to install too. It's not like vinyl.

    Yeah, that's why most of the time they are pre-cut to fit. However vinyl won't protect you front end from rock chips like the clear bra though. You could try the clear plastidip and lay it thick for protection; it won't look as nice as the clear bra though. I dipped my grill and I have zero chips on it.
