Thanks for asking. Didn't get everything done but made pretty good progress. I started late both days and could have had at least one side done if I had been more on focus

Replaced the idler arm bracket, idler arm, steering stabilizer, and got the new tie rods and LCA on the driver side. Still have to finish putting the UCA, knuckle, unit bearing, CV etc on...

Then I have to tear apart the pass side for the CAs and tie rod ends

 

Not gonna get to it this weekend, we are travelling... Next weekend I will poke at it but can't spend the whole weekend there

 

Wouldn't want to pull it with a 3.4L though. Not up any hills anyway.

Fml it's bad enough I have 2 different women fighting for me here on the homefront.

 

I pull a smaller trailer than that with my 4L 4Runner. Don't want any bigger.

 

Re: designed obsolescence.
I have a Pur faucet mount water filter.
Pur claims 300 gal filtered before filter needs replacing.
It flashes green to let you know it's working.
After first use it will flash RED @3mo.
Every 3 mo RED irregardless of actual water filtered.
I refill 100 16oz bottles a month.
I pop the filter out when it flashes RED and put it back and it flashes green for another 3 months. It can't meter water filtered but can tell time from first use.

 

True; that's why Miguel is gonna get a 30' living quarters, and park it at the jobsite wherever he goes. He'll be living in that for good now.

Wonder if his fiance knows of his future plans...

Every time I get close to planning a move, somehow someway, guess who hit me up last night... Damn

Those big trailers/campers can't go anywhere except parking lots.

Some good friends of ours have a bigger trailer, only like 3 or 4 feet bigger than ours. Dual axle 21 foot class (so more like 23 feet).

We went to Yellowstone with them last summer and we couldn't get spots in the park because they were too long (trailer + truck). We had to find one of those resort places outside the park to get them to fit.

Was kind of a bummer.
