That brings back some memories of how the wife and I were.

I learned a lot of shit the hard way with her; the best thing I've ever done for myself was leave Chicago when I left the wife.

There's a whole difference between just breaking up with someone, but still living within reasonable distance from that person vs leaving the state altogether.

All too often do we remember that familiar feeling that we let our guard down and indulge only to later be reminded why we broke up in the first place. They're an ex for a reason...

With the SO now, it's different. Her and I have been together for almost 8 years until just last year we decided to not be exclusive towards one another. A way to "focus on ourselves, and what's important" without the obligation of a relationship. I can say it's been great.

Absolutely no expectations or disappointment from one another either because everything we do for each other, we do it out of love. And yeah, last night I made her a soup and got a big hug and kiss from her before I left....and I'll still be sick-free :D

damn if all it really needs is some new leaf springs that's a steal. But a hit that hard would have me wondering about the frame being tweaked too. I guess they would have checked that though

This is why I hate having to park on the street on weekends...the girl that rents our guest house gets the driveway Fri night through Sunday. I mean we live in a relatively quiet neighborhood but tons of high school aged kids around.

I wouldn't put a bent leaf spring past what a Prerunner could do offroad...that's something that would probably happen from hauling ass for momentum's sake and then slamming into something or catching unwanted air, both of which I think a Prerunner could do if it really wanted to lol

So just ended a phone call with @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc . Josh is still over there which is great to hear. Very cool dude to do business with. Just a heads-up in case you need to order anything.

I'm working up an order for shackles, bushings and a couple of other items. They are kicking LowRange OffRoad's butt by still showing free shipping whereas LRO wants to ding me for 40 some odd dollars. Ouch.

But do they still put candy in with each order? Last time I ordered from them (probably a year ago), no candy :(

lol. are you kidding? LRO didn't send candy with the last order I had with them. They did send a free Beanie so I guess I shouldn't complain. I think Marie over at headstrong is the only one still doing candy with their orders. At least that is what I hear :notsure:

I have so many questions...1st, I've ordered a bunch from Headstrong and never gotten candy from them. 2 - Same with LROR, stickers but no candy. And 3 - what the hell, I never got a beanie

I mean the least Trail Gear could do after buying out all the competition is put some damn tootsie rolls in with my order, or some Pop Rocks. Maybe a melted Reeses or two

So since I'm replacing my shackles, I want to replace the bushings as well - question to you all, what's your opinion on the ARB shackle bushings? I think the bushings I have now are Daystar but was thinking just give ARB a try. Price point isnt a big deal (it's actually 26.12 since it requires 2 kits).

I still have those installed on the top of both my shackles from when I had Dakars on lol. The bottom of my shackles are the Daystar Poly Bushings.

My shackles creaked like a motherfucker when I had Dakars and I think it wasn't necessarily those bushings, it was because I didn't have the greasable bolts back then. Use greasable bolts and they should be fine
