Morning SATX! What a lousy night of sleep! Wife said it was the anesthesia - don't know, nose plugged up so the BiPAP didn't work and gave me dry mouth, and the defib kept screwing up! Oh well, up now - on the right side of the dirt, right 1.0?

We didn't get any storms, but we did get wet, all day and all night, but a miniscule total. Came back from the hospital to find a real mess:

They sure chose a good day to play with mud! Finally found that last pic that made me happy last weekend!

We're supposed to get wet today, so computer, plotting shed, drop off truck for clear coat. Stuff like that. Y'all have a GREAT day!

Love these kinda days coming into work.

 

You really don't like sitting still! You need some indoor toys - drone practice or something. Find a hook setup on Amazon, and teach it to fetch a beer - that would be cool!
Wish is wasn't all wet right now - can't buy a good rain - it's just blowing a cold drizzle. Got Jasmine vine that has to be cut out where the fence will go, got a new mower blade to try out, but now it's too wet. Truck is getting a beauty treatment, so can't mess with that.
Oh, well. Appointments to make, computer to upgrade, clean up inside, find photos of the old greenhouse frames to sell, bins to sell, bumper to sell - guess I have enough to do.

 

Certainly not going to be that busy! And not so bad it's all pucker factor either!

 

True, I’ve been getting stuff done I didn’t make time for recently.

Ohhh that's a challenge.. gonna try to figure out how to hang a hook on my drone for some external load practice!

 

Or a cot for one because you'll be sleeping alone.

 

Welp. After my brutal failure yesterday and extreme need to get the TOB replaced, I finally just broke down and took it to a shop.


This is the first time I've ever taken it to someone else for work and if I find out these grease monkeys weren't as gentle but firm as I am with her I am going to cry. But seriously, they seem pretty competent. Owner is a Marine, everything is Marine Corps in the office and waiting room, I'm sure everything will be taken care of. The work area, office, and restroom are very clean and organized, that's a good sign.

Still bummed I couldn't get this one done myself though.

Honda ridgeline has better bed volume. But i see that new trail as an overlanders dream.
