WHen I managed a bike shop back in school we use the term"JRA" all the time.

    Just riding along.

As in: "I was just riding along and the frame just bent in half."

We seriously had this dude, a football player (at least built like one, lol) came in. We had this thing where we'd lend out a rental bike if we needed to keep your bike for a few days for the repair. It was a college campus, and we had a huge fleet of these beach cruisers.

So, this guy brings his bike in for some repair, and he gets a cruiser. Granted, it was one of those drop frame "ladies" bikes (all we had at the time), but shit, he brings the thing back and was like "I was just riding along..."

Now, those bikes aren't exactly tin foil, working there long enough, you know how much they can take. But this guy was claiming he was just riding to class.

I eventually got him to self incriminate that he was jumping curbs with it. Yeah, that'll be $100 please. And $45 for the repair of your bike.

Since we were a campus shop, we could actually hold your registration for class for unpaid bills. I only had to do that a couple times. Usually mommy and daddy would step in and pay.

Hey guys, I bought a full 4.10 elocker axle from a tacoma off craigslist and after having a shop swap new axle seals and bearings in, one side is still "gritty". The passenger side spins smooth.

The shop and I are thinking the driver side axle shaft is bent. Any chance i can have them swap an axle shaft from my non-locked axle in or do I have to get elocker specific axle shafts?

Tried to read everything I could and seems to be more abs vs non-abs info, couldn't get a confirmation on axle shafts only.

    TIA!
