Nothing but a misunderstanding on my part. My apologies to anyone offended. Glad we're all on the same page.
And I still don't know who the hell Joe Dirt is.
Guess I need to stay inside more and watch more movies. Time to peruse Netflix. :frusty:

Very quick install. Takes about 10-15 minutes if you take your time. @MESO has an install video on his website that you can reference. Very helpful!

I’m sure you’ve been asked a million times, probably even by me... BUT... what’s the wheel and tire stats?!

this did get me thinking. Wonder if I get a couple of these motors from the power mirrors and use them to have....
    POWER POD LIGHTS!
Just run a second little dongle on the driver’s side door by the mirror one. @shane100700 you know your way around some wiring. What say you?
Edit- so the ditch lights move around and stuff:rofl:

I don’t see why a simple actuator couldn’t make it very possible. Not gonna lie, I thought about doing Rigid fog lights with the upper portion having rock lights with a rotating cover. Kinda like a throwback to the 80s sports car. Then like most people, I got lazy lol. I think the problem would be sourcing the “adjustable actuator” that would stop when and where you want it to. As opposed to simply in or out.

I’m surprised we haven’t heard more about @KTJO 4x4 ’s auto close mirrors. I’m pretty sure she completed the project. Kinda thought others would’ve jumped on those. If anyone made something like that (non off the shelf, some with magnetic or suction bases do exist) I would put $ on her having the most elegant solution.

It’s fun to ponder a design though.

btw- I know my way around “some.” I’m always humbled and floored by the knowledge here, in all areas. I’ve learned I’m decently rounded in a lot of basic stuff. Then you have your legitimate experts. And that’s just some of the threads I’m sub’d to. (Home improvement, aux fuse, woodwork, etc)

If you don't mind giving up a bit of bed space, the rack will also work with a few sliding/locking tonneau covers. More expensive and you lose a bit of space, but the convenience of opening/closing the tonneau with the rack on is awesome. Saving some $$ to get that setup at some point.

I took the step rails that came with the truck off today. I'll wait a week or two and see if I like them on or off. Ill not ship them but would be interested in selling them if anyone is interested, IF I decide not to put them back on the truck.

My kings took a sh!t. Three of the four shocks are leaking and have low pressure in the reservoirs. Dropped them off at the King headquarters. They told me it will probably be a few days.
