Great deal. New? Do you mind sharing the numbers? That sounds too good to be true.
Many here will doubt it and really who could blame them.

Yup, new in June 2019 in Placerville, CA. TRD OR DCSB with tech package, they even threw in a bed mat and all-weather floor mats. I honestly don't remember the exact sticker price but I do know it was $42k and a few hundred in change. I drove out after paying $34,078.

That process I posted is definitely time-consuming, it took me about a month to narrow down my search and had to drive about 3 hours to the dealership but hey, that was worth paying so much less. If anyone has questions on how I did it I'm happy to help anyone pick up a new Tacoma (or any new car really)

I have purchased new in NJ, PA, AZ and IL, was able to secure at least 10% usually closer to 12% and last truck 13% off MSRP. A bunch of them new 3rd gens in various trims. Just all about how hard you're willing to negotiate / shop around.

I call B.S. on that deal, no way in hell, unless he's counting the $2k rebate which dealer pockets from Toyota or they got him on trade, APR, nonsense dealer add on's etc.

Tell me about it. And they sell within a week of hitting the lot. They had a white one as well that is long gone.

Purchased on June 1st 2019, so I missed out on most "Summer" or "End of Month" sales, I think I still got a $1000 rebate though. Paid in full by check after the quote was agreed upon. The key really is negotiating via email because it's harder to make a decision based on emotion. Make sure you print and bring the quote from the salesman, they tried to add ~$500 when I spoke with their finance dept. but I had the original quote and said I'd walk if they didn't give me the agreed-upon number. Now I have a beautiful new Tacoma with extra $$$ for Mods!

Actually it's not terrible for a Pro. Usually there's very little play in these. Specially this early in the year.

yeah i think the early in the year kills it... I think the best time to get a PRO would be like November or December end of the year stuff IF still lingering around... and get a toyotathon deal with 0% financing! :D

I think they exclude the TRD PRO models from financing deals :(

I put half down and 2.74% on the rest... good enough.

congrats!! yeah dealers are such a scumbags... they tried to rip people off all the time. I wish I can buy them directly from the manufactures... fucking NJ law wont let it!

Yep and not every region sees zero % on every model, Midwest and AZ never did, think 0.9 was lowest I saw this year in those two.

Nah brah, you can claim all you want but until we see your deal, I'll continue to call B.S. you mentioned rebate which plays a part, plus whatever else they added in, was that MSRP before all the dealer add on crap? you mentioned tech, what about prem package, again, not my first rodeo and $9k off MSRP they got you somewhere, if true.

I paid below invoice on all my trucks, last truck was 13% off MSRP BEFORE REBATE, MSRP $42383, paid $36.3k after $500 military rebate (took 1.9% APR deal instead), I've owned a few more of these than you ;)
