I had @Crikeymike assemble my front coil for both my tacoma and my son’s 4Runner. Made everything so much easier and safer.

I didn't know you were running Dobinsons. What do you think so far?

Says it takes 16 hrs in a carport and 8 hrs in an AC wall outlet, that is what worried me the most. It may be great for short term but the biggest reason I went dual battery is the extra power for winching and lights around the truck at night.

I also read that in the user manual is full of warnings about outdoor use including keeping it from exposure to direct sunlight, avoiding rain or moisture, keeping it away from fires, avoiding extreme temperatures, and avoiding exposure to vibrations.

It may be great for some people but I like the dual battery simple because I don't have to worry about charging it.

Could also do dual batteries for the same price

I like the wheels and the tires but sure wish the color was darker. Prefer the dark bronze or black with my red truck. Gray wheels would be the only thing gray on the truck.

Here’s a pic of it on another truck with same color as mine.

Thats the 500, im gunna get the 240. I have an AC outlet in the truck ill charge it off of. So while we are driving its charging.

But your right. May be more cost efficent to put a battery in the trailer and run everything off of it.

Get a Blue Sea battery isolator, run welding leads to the trailer with forklift battery quick disconnects between the truck and trailer.

Yea I agree the matte black or bronze would look better I keep wanting bronze but everybody says black, have you looked at the level 8 mk6 I’m more tempted on them just wish they had a more offset like scs...

I can also get level 8 and tires for as cheap as I can get a set of scs wheels:anonymous:

My battery is under my tool box in the truck bed. I have a quick disconnect wired from the battery to a power strip with USB and 12v power outlets on it in my tent

They look decent in gun metal. Still partial to the ray10 but if price is right never know.

Would like to see this 12v quick disconnect for your tent as well. Also is the isolator red?
