I took a Computer Engineering class last year and I got close with three of them. Out of the four of us, three of us switched majors. I’m pretty sure the fourth one is next.

Thanks, got the new bearings and brakes, just didn't know if the axle would matter.

In pricing out the chromoly's I couldn't find the option of locker vs non so figured might be able to use an axle out of what's on hand.

Ordered a new set of LC100 axles today from https://www.toyotaofpuyallup.com/parts during the half price shipping sale based on recommendations at Mud.

I hope these new axles last 20 years like the old ones. I may take one from the driver side that still has boots that are holding and reboot it with OEM to keep as a spare.

There is a long list of other parts that I need to order that are part of the CV axle job. I'm not planning to cut any corners on this build.

Doing the wheel bearings as well? Or they've already been done? I'd be surprised if they hadn't or didn't need it. But that's just guessing

Prolly woulda been okay at Autozone. Well not the axles. Not many companies make after market parts for Land Cruisers. Who knows. Which is a huge blessing in disguise for the owners even if they don't realize it and curse the prices:D
I need to look at a pic of the CV axle for it. Rockauto shows actual pics of the parts they list right?
    Don't worry JKO1998, I know you don't care checking cause I wanna know. :D

PO said he recently did them. Now the question is were they done right? I'll need to check them. I understand they are easy to change compared to the Taco.

When I have it all apart, I want to get the rotors turned and some new pads. There is a list of other parts involved in changing the axles.
