I am one of those emails!! For me the 1500rpm stumble/ rahrahrah is most apparent in second gear, though i’ve felt in in others as well. High load, low rpm. Or also when you were being easy on it but then romp on it at those low rpms

Would do a bit more testing rn to give you better data but she’s in the body shop

I initially thought it was a shifting issue on my part, as it /really/ likes to do it when i shift into second down to that rpm - however, it will do it without clutch actuation as well, as long as i’m at that rpm with high load - or perhaps more specifically fluctuating load

Edit: i did take it in for this when it was newer and it had factory tune - was told it was normal and i should never upshift the truck below 3,000rpm. o_O
The automatics gladly upshift at 1,500rpm btw

Functionally, I wouldn't think there is a difference WRT what Mat can affect with the tune.
Both (for 2020) have all the TSS goodies..
    Both have ATRAC..
    Both have a locker..
    Identical traction control/ABS/brake booster hardware.
    Am I wrong?

    Edit:
Identical drivetrain except for a noisemaker or two..
    Same fucking tires FFS lol!

But you ARE allowed extra headroom and no water leaks...ever.

It's awful having a truck without a big hole cut in the roof, isn't it?

Yeah, 2017 MT Pros didn't get a sunroof. Toyota said it had to do with maintaining rigidity or some BS like that. We also didn't get JBL because, you know, Pro trim manual trans enthusiasts hate good quality sounding music lol

Lol it's true, no leaks ever. I personally don't particularly care. My wife is the one that has to have a sunroof in her vehicles.

Love me a good night sky view... Of course, once you get a roof rack and goodies up there....

My 2006 Access Cab leaked without a Sun Roof (rear sliding window drains got clogged and bad welds on the firewall that soaked the carpets from the cowl) and there are a few lucky 3rd brake light owners who might also disagree o_O

My 17 had the leaky 3rd brake light. Sunroof hasn’t leaked.

The title of honey badger applies to more than just what tune I'm running, it applies to defects such as leaks too

85 Rust bucket had no leaks, also had comically large drain channels on the roof.

So much about what's wrong with these trucks could be cured with a cable operated throttle body.
