    So...how come....when a cucumber is pickled it becomes a pickle, when anything else is pickled it retains its original name? Once pickled, a cucumber should still be called a cucumber. But then I may not like it cause I hate cucumbers and love pickled cucumbers.
    The word pickle (noun) should cease to exist.
    Pickle should only be allowed as a verb.
    (Ex. Are you going to pickle that cucumber?)
