The Army green does look good...not as good as the 2nd gen Spruce Mica green but Tacomas and the color green just go together like grilled cheese and...bread..

Not sure if it's an auto or manual but there's a good looking Pro in Army Green across the street.

A lot of people been checking it out but it's still on their lot.

They're kinda stupid expensive. I don't blame them for taking a pass lol. They are sweet looking though

Hm, not as horribly expensive as I thought; $45.3k for a 2020 Pro in Army Green in stick. I only added a bed mat and all weather mats.

Due to taxes/dmv in CA, these numbers will be slightly higher than other states; expect to save about $60/month compared to the quote I just created below -

Paying MSRP, at 60 months with 2.99% and 5,000 down, payment would be $817/mo

Really? For a light quarter ton medium size pick up? And it's just my opinion of that number for that truck. And that's your opinion of that number for that truck.
And obviously proves that it would sell lol

Lol no, we pretty much share the same opinion of stupid expensive.

I'm just not as sticker shocked, and you know why after I posted pictures of those invoices the other day

The 5.0 I got for the SO had an MSRP of about $36k; even though I got it netted out to me, meaning cost and no holdback, as well as the manufacturer rebate and 0%, I was still like "fuck this ain't cheap"

The way we always memba'ed it for just a ballpark payment number was 20 bucks for every thousand borrowed. Just a rough estimate. And they were all 5 year loans max back then. I can't believe how everything auto has changed soooo much. But I guess 1970 to 1990 was huge changes too. So it'd be fitting to have crazy changes 1990s to 2020 as well. Time flies

Yeah you see those big numbers daily. And new cars too. So honestly you're a much more accurate reflection of the reality of the price of market. I admit I'm pretty out of touch man lmao but kinda by choice but either way. But damn I'm way outta touch:rofl:

Oh absolutely; the people that bought vehicles back then, want to have a deal structured that same way now.

When that 60 month payment turns out to be over $900 (due to the price and amount financed), they're like WTF

It's not particularly fun being a torsion bar setup with a huge knuckle to negotiate.

Lmao yeah I guess these are the people that would even really have an idea of how the total purchase price factors into the monthly and the number of months and stuff. I could only imagine some of the looks and faces lolll
