I'll be taking my company car out in the snow tomorrow. So if you see someone trying to do donuts or some sweet drifting around corners in a Ford Fusion that's me.

Still at work, guess the stuff is going to really hit us after 1am. I hope I get to telework tomorrow.

Or it's just another hyped snowpocalypse.

I go to work at 3 am, hoping to hit a few empty parking lots but then got to deal with keeping 18 wheels on the road

Good luck out there, you know how people get crazy when there's just a threat of snow.

Anyone know of shops in around Tulsa or at least the NE part of Oklahoma or even Kansas area that you can rent bays from to do work?

Also, trying to help @Rambler2005 out to install her 4" MaxTrac spindles. I would like to help her out and I also need to install upper ball joints for my LR's as well as inner/outer tierods. I live in a Condo and I'm pretty sure they will completely flip out if I have a mod party. TIA!

IDK if either of you have access to a military member who can get you on a base with an auto hobby shop with a lift. I know they have one here on Tinker, but I don't know if I'm eligible to use it as a .civ.

I'm interested to find out. I'm relatively new to being an Okie (09.2019), but I'll ask around and maybe even at my work. Not sure if this applies to vets, but I know there are some vets in my office, so I'll ask them and see what comes about. Thanks!

Pretty sure anyone with base access can utilize the hobby shop, along with gyms etc..
Always keeping an eye out for your truck. Do you work on the east side by chance?

I know about the gyms (I use 'em), wasn't sure about the rest of the MWR stuff like that. I used the shop many moons ago when my Chevies kept breaking.

Also, yep, but on swings so not during the day. Hope to change that soon. If you see me, give a couple taps on the horn!

Any trails in the tulsa area that a stock Tacoma owner could enjoy. Just looking to engage the 4WD and enjoy some scenery.

Gruber orv Park between braggs and fr gibson and Cherokee wildlife mangement between Ft Gibson and Tahlequah, mostly mild roads with some side trails, Cherokee has a nice shooting range as a bonus. If you go, really any trails take a limb cutter, most have a few pesky limbs that will mar you paint

Cherokee is great for stock trucks, but you need a hunting license to be there.

Isn’t that just for the gun range? I’ve sent a lot of time out there running around, never been asked for one

All WMAs/PHAs require a license to enter IIRC

I mean, they're not manning a gate for entry, but it's like fishing. You might get along for a while without a license and no warden checking on you. Plus it's only $25 and supports the Wildlife Department so they can maintain these public areas.

Combo license is cheaper than buying both separately. They've got it all spelled out on their site and app.
When we went shooting and wheeling there my wife only had the fishing license. A guy leaving said the warden might not allow her to shoot but he had just been through so not likely to be back soon.
