C4 hybrid bumper question

Anyone know if the C4 hybrid bumper will work with the RCI front skid plate?

I can’t see a reason why it wouldn’t. I’m running mobtown and they all mount pretty similarly.

 

Unless rci changed their design, their IFS interferes with pretty much every plate bumper ever. The front part of the skid plate that wraps up around the cross member has to be cut off.

 

You can kinda see the lip I’m talking about in this pic.

 

There is about a 1.5” gap between the bumper and that cross member. You can stick you hand up behind the bumper in front of that cross member.

 

Maybe on the one in their pics. All bumpers I’ve seen butt up against it.

Glad you asked this OP, cause I'm waiting for my skids to arrive this week and I've got the C4 Hybrid. Was going to be very disappointed if I was going to have to go cut my new skids

Yeah I have the rci skids and just ordered the c4 hybrid. Have to wait 12 weeks lol.

 

Man that wait was a bitch I just ordered the HC rear bumper from them on Friday and now I've got an 8 week wait.

You know when you order something from Amazon and check the status/tracking of your order until it arrives? I have to do that for 10 more weeks.

 

Yea, I also ordered a new set of gears at the same time though so hopefully that will keep me occupied for about a month. AND the paint on my hybrid is chipping and it's starting to rust in the chipped spots so now I have to take it to get powdercoated. Overall I think I have enough to distract me for the time being.

 

8-12 weeks is nothing I waited 5 month for my high clearance rear to get built and then it was not the same as pictured on the website.
