I gotta give him props because he probably said “Fuck it. Might as well try” It’s pretty ballsy for him to attempt to sell it for approximately what he’s got into it and to know he’ll have to deal with all the online hate.
It’s not my taste and I think it’s overpriced but if by some miracle he does sell it to some rich guy for close to his asking price, he’ll be laughing all the way to the bank and to his next build.....

Again... he didn’t build anything. If he enjoyed building vehicles he would know what to get and how to build it in a cohesive manner. He would also have at least ONE pic that wasn’t on pavement. So it was an educated guess, that’s likely more spot on then your assumptions have been about him and us.

Yeah, I hear ya. But it's not uncommon for people to have a desire to "belong" to group of enthusiasts but they just don't. Often it's a group of like minded individuals that share an activity or hobby that requires a certain amount of physical buy-in, like building hot-rods, tractor pull trucks, 1950's scooters or old Warbirds, it could be anything.

But the underlying concept remains, the subject doesn't really fit the mold so to speak, but he has money and can buy all the shit the others build slowly working in the garage at night, hanging with like minded friends sharing the pain and joy of whatever the said recreation is. That is what makes the subject not another member of the click, but instead the worst kind of non-member...the in your face wannabe. He buys the best of everything to be as ostentatious and abrasive as possible.

And yet choda boy is bewildered when the group patently rejects him.

TLDR: He didn't build anything he bought it, rubbed his fancy trick parts in the face of those he wants to impress. Disdain and rejection occured, Now he wants to sell because nobody wants to play with him.
