Are you referring to me as choda boy? LOL

    Nice.
I know why people don't like him, I said basically what you said earlier only from the perspective of some who thinks that this whole bashing people for having money and an interest is dumb. Your right. Everyone in who is talking crap about the dude is jealous of him, his money, and his build.

I even said I kind of am too! It's easy to criticize from this side of the fence but if any of us had money like he does why would we do the work ourselves when we can afford to have the experts (in this case rogue off-road) do our suspension right for us? I'd love to say I think y'all, and myself would be better than him but tbh I don't think we would be.

Just because you are jealous doesn't mean everyone else is, that's called projection.

Is it projection if he admits he's doing the same thing? If this thread is devolving into a righteous fact-checking hub instead of a dumpster fire, we might as well be accurate or learn some shit, I guess.

The fact is, a lot of us probably could afford to do this. Maybe not as carefree as he did, but with in economic grasp? Certainly. No jealousy needed or had. You’re bashing our assumptions as you make your own.

We have to find a way to keep this going until Friday. Maybe this is how we do it.

Yeah so a lot of those girls on campus with their Red Bull backpacks. One day I drove off campus to Burger King and noticed a package in my truck bed, was a 4 count box of red bull and I’m like I guess they snuck it in there while parked at the dorm parking deck, prob laced with crack to get people addicted to their drinks lol

First "afford" has a different meaning to everyone. I can't pay cash to build a hobby truck and most of us in here can't either.

Also, let me clear things up. I'm not jealous either. I do hope that one day I can afford to spend 70k+ on a build for an off-road truck. That is what I hope for. I don't want his truck, job or money.

Also, I am absolutely bashing your assumptions and definitely did say that I believe you all sound jealous of the guy.

Can we at least establish that this truck didn't cost 70k to build? It cost much more than that?

Anyway. I am critical of those who are making stuff up about a guy they don't know who has a nice truck for sale. That's all. :) Continue conversation.

Hey I am just looking out for a brother TW-er. Don't want him/her to be stiffed out of $70.00. Every dollar counts, ya know.

Don't lump us all in like that, marin. "Back in my day" (shit, did I really just do that?) we ripped each other for the vehicles we drove, among other things, all the fuckin time. I specifically recall "stripper Mustang" and "Pedo Van" being the top 2.
Not like any of this is "behind his back" anyway since he is a member and has been tagged.

One of them was an ROTC cadet that lived in our barracks at VT. She'd walk around with a red wagon full of the stuff during finals week. Def passed a stats final because of her.
