Did you install the winch before or after the bumper? I feel like if you take the grill out you can drop the winch in after and it would have been a lot easier to install by myself. Looks good! I finally used mine last week to winch a bank vault door out of the basement we are remodeling :D

Are those the DOT/SAE approved fogs?

Any chance they fit a 2nd gen not a 2.5 gen?
I really need some new fogs. I do lots of nighttime highway travel for 5 hours one-way. Almost every 3rd weekend.

They are releasing 2005-2011 mounts shortly. I think I saw 1-2 months out.

I installed the winch before I mounted the bumper. I liked not having to install the winch in tight quarters. Lifting the whole unit and mounting it on the truck wasn't that bad. It only weighs +/- 115 pounds.

I look forward to using mine. Hopefully I won't be pulling myself out of somewhere!

What paint did you use? I'm waiting for my Victory lo-pro bumper to come in and need suggestions.

I used POR15 as a base coat and then rustoleum bed-liner on top of that. i also did this on my rock sliders and it has held up well and is easy to repair

Thanks for the tip. Pretty resistant to rock chips?

yeah, that POR15 is very resistant to that, but its sensitive to UV light so you gotta make sure to have a solid top coat. Also, make sure you sand and clean the metal surface before you paint. With my rock sliders, i had originally used self etching primer followed by the bed liner, and that started coming off after just a couple trips up the mountain. I took a wire wheel to them and hit all the bare areas with POR-15 followed by bedliner and the problem largely has gone away.

I used por15 on my frame when I did my rear suspension and it was clean metal and it never cured to the metal, everyone says it has to be lightly rusty for it to stick better. Overall very disappointed with the brush on stuff... now there spray paint has worked great on clean and prepped metal.
