Let's See Your Dogs!!

One of our previous visits was for x-rays, and the blood work. X-rays revealed disk loss around the 4-5 and 5-6, and 10-11 vertebrae in the thoracic area. Didn't appear to be abnormal for a dog of 14 years.

 

Two labs I had, father and son. Tater and Chubby were their names.

 

Man I miss my yellow lab. Got a black one and chocolate one now. But Lady was my first lab that got me hooked on them.

 

Those are the only two yellow ones I've ever had, have had some black ones over the years. These 2 were my favorites.

 

Sometimes I think Chubby wanted to be brown, lol. For some reason he loved the mud.

Found one of my favorites of Tater with his tongue out and he and Chubby on the back of a 1988 Toyota I had at the time.

not my dog but corgis are the best, prove me wrong.

I grew up in the Ohio Valley and had a dog when I was 12 called Pooch. He was the garden variety mutt mixed breed. I found him in a abandoned car when I was 6 and took him home. I always took care of him but we had a old Italian neighbor lady who would feed him table scraps all the time.
We moved 120 miles away and took Pooch with us to New Castle Pennsylvania. He ran away immediately and turned up at the old Italian ladies house back home. She called us to let us know he was there. We let him stay. I never had another dog. I have no idea how he found his way back there. He was missing for more than a week.
I still like dogs.

 

So sorry, she was a cutie pie.

I hope you'll be able to let another one in to your life soon. It took us 4 years after the loss of our lab before these two fur baby hooligans wiggled into our life.

 

This was my lab/pit mix. Unfortunately had to have him laid to rest way to early. He was only 9.

 

Nah not yet. I might get a corgi. My step brothers girlfriend breeds corgis so they have a few. I’m only 17 so idk how my parents are gonna feel about having a new dog around the house lol
