How to close the tailgate while standing in the bed?

Mike Sweers and Toyotas design Engineers failed to address this design issue with the 2nd GEN trucks which in turn has caused an uptick in sprained backs and spinal issues associated with not having a modern design that automatically closes the window, I'm getting ready to file a class action lawsuit against Toyota Corp for pain,suffering and unfair business practices.

 

I think you could benefit from a suction cup and some paracord. Might need to throw a pulley in there somewhere too.

Toyota corp. should have supplied a stick you can use to reach the button, you've paid over $50k dollars for a vehicle they should have thought about this issue you'd think.

My hopes are that Toyota representatives are monitoring this site in order to gain information on owners dissatisfactions and address them immediately with TSBs and Recalls before my Lawsuit drops.

I’m glad that my setup doesn’t look like that. I would be turning off the Park thingy while trying to open the rear window. Why didn’t they just put it on the door like the rest of the window controls?
