Crazy thing is, majority rule has almost always ended in chaos. (tyranny of the majority)

IMO 6/10 times I see the group doing some group think I'm headed the opposite direction... Find myself doing this more and more the older I get. I don't care if I fit in with the majority. It does not validate me.

That "not caring" thing can be tricky. If one truly didn't care, they would simply ignore, move on, and forget. Taking the time to give one's opinion on something, anything, shows that they cared enough to do so, as opposed to just ignoring, moving on, and forgetting, which one would do if, again, they truly did not care.
