So T’Day, I had a Manager tell the Director of Perfect Execution (Lovely Corporate BS title) that I no longer work for the site and can not help them with their scanner issue! They are in a panic, a full on frenzy!

This snowballed like a Motherfucker & they never talked to me about the actual issue or included me on any of the conversations or emails! It makes it all the way up the the VP of IT Global, let’s just say he wasn’t happy with me!

So I get the call and do the “Wtf you talkin’bout! & Yes, sir!”. Get everyone in the conference room, we need to have a meeting!


30 Seconds into looking at it I realize they are testing EXAMPLE data in a Production Environment! I stare directly at the Manager of Dumbassery and say “You’re right, I can’t fix stupid!” Director of ERP says “You’ve got to be shitting me!” VP of IT chuckles, Manager of Dumbassery and Director of Piss Poor Execution go “Ohh that makes sense now!” and I leave the meeting!

Can’t wait for next years review! But I’m pack a box tomorrow just in case! Lol.

 

I was once asked by the VP why I don’t bump certain issues up to Management.
Asked ‘em if he believed in gravity.
When he asked what I mean I just told ‘em straight out.
What goes up must come down so I gotta deal with it anyhow so why complicate things.

Never said it or thought about it, great way to put it! I think instinctively I do the same thing! I’m 100% sure my boss doesn’t even know what I do!
