Yeah no problem. I just wrapped them around the winch and ratched each one up and up untill the bolt holes lined up it was pretty easy for a one man install. Mounting The fair lead actually was the biggest pain.

I have not had it since the 1990s. After that round, the state made us all get the flu shots. 3 years worth of bad reactions and I don't get that anymore. SO IDK? hahaha He never had the flu shot either, I think he just got unlucky and picked it up on the Yorktown Sunday (handrails and such).

No arguing with that! Hate it y'all getting sick, though. :( I haven't had the actual flu in almost fifteen years. God it sucked so bad.

I was in a stupor for about four or five days, then maybe another three hacking my guts up, and probably two more weeks finally getting over the lingering crap. These days I get a flu shot every year. Even if it's not 100% a sure thing, the alternative is shit.

Just me but I never understood the appeal of spending that much money on a camper. For that amount of money, you can take several NICE vacations a year for many many years. And stay in an actual bed. :D
For instance, my friend bought one. Him and the family go stay in some park for a week that's only like an hour from his house. They love it. But I just don't get the appeal. For camping, just get a tent. Or get a camper shell and sleep in the bed of the truck.

Everybody's sense of adventure is different I guess. Some want to sleep under the great big sky outdoors, others want a ground tent, others a trailer .. so on and so forth. Some people only go to one place, camp for a bit then go home. I can see the trailer being for those that camp multiple places during an outing and dont like setting up and breaking down camp every day. Rooftop tents also fit that niche. Quick tent setup if you roll into camp late or under unfavorable weather to still get the tent camping experience without sleeping on the ground like a pleb.

Got a question about alignment numbers. I installed my original lift about 2 years ago with 884s/5100s. Ever after a couple if alignments it always pulled very slightly to the left. This past Saturday I installed the 886s/5100s. Then last night I added the taco lean spacer and had the alignment done. It pulls a little more to the left than before. The only thing that needed the adjustment was the front toe. So the toe was fixed but I think that just exacerbated the rear axle issue. So says the technician (who's a good friend and a very good mechanic) who did the alignment. The thrust angle is .13, which after searching doesn't seem that bad for a Tacoma. What can be done to fix this pull to the left? I think for now I will just drive it a while but will probably need to tweak it at some point.

I get that everyone likes different things. Just stating that I personally don't get it. But it's all good. Of course I don't have kids to worry about either. And a girlfriend that doesn't want to camp even though I do.

I'm the same way. Camping to me is being out alone with nobody around unless they are friends camping with your group, just you and the great outdoors. To my wife, camping is going to one of the KOA campgrounds and parking the RV on a concrete pad with all the hookups. So, everybody's different.

So let’s just say hypothetically I finance a camper for 15k at 6% apr for 10 years. Payment is 166.53 a month. One year of payments is $1998.36.

We go on 2 week long vacations per year and go away one weekend per month. Let’s just say Airbnb rentals are very conservative at 150 per day including fees and taxes.

    150x14=2100 for two week vacation

150x2=300x12= 3600 for one weekend away per month

$5700 per year alone in lodging. Camper would be 2k. Lots of savings available.

I live in the west where BLM land is plentiful. So no camp spot fees. It also saves pet lodging fees.

    This is the way.
    I have spoken.

It also doubles as additional housing if friends or family members visit. Or a place to hide from kids/wife/husband.

As long as you also have a place to store your trailer/camper/rv/bangbus on your property without paying any additional storage unit fees = win/win. But if you don't, that's just another fee to add.

I spent enough time outdoors due to Air Force Survival Training and my professional mtn biking days.
I don't care to ever sleep outdoors again. If I want to camp I'll rent a log cabin. :oldglory:

My side yard could handle 4-6 trailers. We are good.
