Mled 2.0 are out and pretty slick, all you need is the $50 conversion brackets and they'll bolt right in.

Well I plan on retrofitting the OEMassive/Tacomabeast headlamp like MESO did (albeit without all the fancy LED work he did) if I retro anything. Quad Bi-Xenon/Bi-LED would be sexy.

One thing I'd recommend, anything LED that you want, buy from Diode Dynamics. It's a few extra bucks, but personally I think they are as good or better than OEM LED parts. Just my $.02

Little help here... so I’m in the process of a bhlm and retrofit swap. Going through TRS and getting the “retro-Quik” kit.

With that being said anyone know what high beam splitter to go with? Does not show one for a H9. Also what size halos? 80mm? Was thinking of doing switchback DRL LED’s and halos but TRS doesn’t have them on there site... any help?.

I'm guessing you're going with the Rx350 retro kit? Either way not sure what splitter you will need so TRS should help when you order the kit.
    Halos are 80mm.

I dont think TRS has just the switchback DRL's. Only RGB.

Diode dynamics does have just the switchback DRL's.

    Truck stuff
The high beam splitter I got for the rx350 retro are the H11 male > H11/9006 female splitter. No clue about halo.

So what’s a solid solution for doing the angry eye? Seems like many cannot get paint to stick to halos...

General consensus of 300 degrees for 10 minutes to get them open? Also, do you set the headlights on the rack or a cookie sheet?
Also does any one know what size dust cover fits the back of the projector?
I see the 70mm listed below but I just wanted to confirm.

I used 285 for 10 min and had no issues with opening mine. Did 2 reheats for around 8 min a piece and was open within 40 min (including bake times). The trim clip remover tool or whatever from Harbor Freight works awesome. Removing the remaining permaseal has been a real pain in the ass so far though. Still working on that with a heat gun when I have time.

I went with headlight straight on the rack and it was fine

Thanks to Corona I'm working from home so decided to tackle this. It was a pain in the ass but worth it.

Cut a small slit in your original drl wire grommet. After you are done, seal all around the wires with rtv black.

So since I’m not using stock wiring just cut both ends and use it as a seal? That would be for both the drl board and the demon eye wiring correct? What about for the wiring for the projector itself? Would that just pass through low beam grommet? Thanks for the replies!

Yes you can just cut the wires on both sides and use for as many wires that will fit. If you are talking about the high beam shutter wire, then yes it can also go through there. Not sure of your setup? Also, I'm no expert by any means. :hattip:
