I hope you didn't George Foreman that USDA Prime. Pan seared in Cast Iron is a serious must try.

 

Poultry should never be defrosted outside the fridge let alone rinsed in the sink. Food safety 101

Well I am probably (actually likely) thinking about this the wrong way. This is all going to be an upgrade from the OME kit on there now 881's Nitrochargers, Dakers w/AAL which supposedly gives me 2" of lift. At most I might, some day, move up a bit. But for now, with 2" in my head, when I see 0-1" on shocks that means they won't work on a 2" lift?

 

I really like the pan seared but it has to be outside for me. That grease smell from the steaks that seems to permeate everything inside the place gets......overbearing

Your last statement implies rear shocks......

For the rear, there are limited choices; Kings (0-1"), Bilstein 5100 (2 different sets, one for minimal like 1" and the other for up to 2 or 2.5"), Icon @eon_blue can tell you what kind of height, and the OME you mentioned.

 

Supermarket chicken is so full of antibiotics it wouldn't make much difference if you thawed it in the toilet.

No diss it's just that the cast iron is already preseasoned, and doing it on the pan you can control how long you're on each side. Not to mention controlling the heat.

I go medium on the thicker stuff and hotter on the thinner cuts.

 

yes, rears. Now that I have the Fox shocks and the Icon Delta Joint UCA in hand for the front I'd like to upgrade the rear to something comparable.

 

That's true, and I leave the patio door open as well as running the fan on high above the stove.

Make sure those doors are closed for the bedroom and bathroom!

 

True I love the cast iron set I got my fiance. Expensive as hell but we'll never need another set again

 

I run Bilstein 5100s in the back and love them. I wheel as often as I can and I never find my rear wheel losing ground.

Today even, we took the dirt trails pretty damn fast and those washboards were soaked up pretty damn easily even with my extra weight.
