Yeah, can always buy a knob if I miss this batch and buy a DIY later (or hold out for the back-lit version :D), and was definitely going to try and figure out a way to turn the ECT wires into a different function down the line. Hooray, another excuse to pester stew!

Sorry guys..I am getting them together as quick as I can. These past few days have been crazy between shipping out a ton of orders, designing some new products, and assembling knobs + DIY kits.
I have most of the DIY kits made and packaged. I wiped Toyota out on shift knobs (ordered over 100) and they could only get me half. The rest should be in any day, then I'll retrofit them and list ALL DIY and COMPLETE knobs together. I currently have a Tacoma in the bay and will be filming a more in depth how-to video and just an overall guide on the stealth kit. This product is pretty polished and refined now, I guarantee everyone will like this mod. So simple, yet really convenient.

Any process for early adopters to get a DIY upgrade kit? Or just buy the standard DIY kit? I don’t know what it’s target price is yet but I want it.

Should we hold off on buying if we want the backlit TRD option or will that be offered as a standalone add on at a later date?

DIY kit prices have not changed... will be the same price as before. ($60) Only difference is only 1 version kit will be available(stage 2 as I use to call it) with both buttons.
As for early adopters, I am not sure how to handle that yet. I might create a code that once can obtain and apply at checkout.

It will be an add on, just like the DIY kit. Snap outter shell off, swap the back strap badge, and drop the wire down +plug it in.

This mod is money. I remember the day I bought it, before the days of injection molds when you had literal seconds to complete your transaction. I was in the middle of dinner. Everything around me was dropped. There was only my phone and my shaking hands.

I use the second button for my front camera all the time. I'll upgrade to the supreme version, code or no code. Sir MESO does not disappoint.

Hey, could you comment on How you wired your front camera setup. I’d like to do the same. Thanks.

Does your 2020 have an OEM dash mounted button to activate the MTM cam? If not, how do you manually turn it on?

It does, left of driver's side, where the cubby used to be. I'll snap a pic later.

It cycles through: (Turn on)front/birdseye > driver's and passenger's sides > off. Only when doing under 5mph/stopped (but not in Park) in 2wd, IIRC.

I also have it set to "Auto" where it comes on when I'm under 5mph/stopped, and can cycle through those options at that stage. I have not used it in 4wd hi or lo yet, but I am under the impression that it is not limited to the 5mph speed when in 4lo. I could be wrong and should read the manual. I'll make an amended post when I do.

Having the button in a convenient location would be nice when I want to cycle back to the main infotainment interface (Android Auto for me) when at a stop.

    EDIT:
Found a pic I had of the left:

I have one of the early DIY kits. Had some issues with the cord dislodging from the adapter. This looks like a good upgrade for sure! Would be interested in getting this kit @MESO, especially if there is some kind of discount code that I could apply to upgrade from the original. Let me know if this is an option! Thanks for all you do! Products are dynamite

Just to clarify, if you have a current diy kit what can you actually swap over without buying the complete newer diy kit? I posted speculation earlier that you’d need connectors and terminals and the buttons which only leave the wire/harness to swap (but at a shorter than the new length)?

I thought you mentioned using all new connectors even for the buttons so if there really is no swapping bits and pieces between old and new kits then is there really a reason to offer a discount :crapstorm:

My V1 kit had black and green wires for the second switch. I have the ABC kit and used red and green wires to supply power to and activate the front camera. I don't have a guide because I suck at updating my own build thread but if memory serves, I connected the Meso green to ABC green and Meso black to ABC red. The way I have it setup, the front camera is only powered when I activate it instead of whenever the truck is on. I think I originally did Meso green to ABC green and Meso black to ground and blew a fuse. I for sure talked about it way earlier in this thread...probably page 40ish?

I don't know how to integrate the MTM system, however.
