I went from the OEM 265/65/17 to a 275/70/17 and had less than 1/4” of space between the total chaos UCA and the tire and had a bit of rubbing when at full lock turning. Went with a rim that has a 0 offset instead of the OEM rim’s -25 offset. Works great now

No, re-space. I'm going to move the outer two lights one space further out. I have them side by side right now on either side of the camera. I'm also going to pull off the TRD logo I put on the grille - thought I'd like it but don't. Oh well, into the "maybe I'll sell these at some point" parts bin.

I've had my Pro Grille from Taco Garage on the truck for over two months. The TSS is working as designed and have not had a single "warning" light come on since install. Maybe just lucky, but it hasn't caused any issues so far. I did buy the OEM garnish, which I think may be the key. A little more $$$, but worth it.

+1 for OEM garnish. I've had the runnin4tacos grill and the OEM garnish for a year with no errors.

Just an FYI, the number you have in bold isn’t the diameter of the tire, it’s the aspect ratio. So in your case the 75 means that the sidewall height is 75% of the tire width. So the two sizes you mention are two different sizes.

Good to know. for emergency purposes i think he will be fine to make it home or to a gas station (primary function of a spare)

My last truck I ran a matching tire and wheel. In all honesty, when I upgrade this time. I will keep the steel spare and throw on a cheap tire with the same diameter. Why? One, because I rotated the spare into rotations but I think it was Unnecessary. Also you don’t know how far you will have to travel on that spare, especially on a trail or in a rural area. A sub $150 tire should be fine for that, why limit a self recovery scenario.

Interesting. How’s it seem to work with in cab glare or working through the window? Back of the truck doesn’t cast too many shadows for the rear cam?

Inside the cab it's surprisingly dim with it on. I could easily drive with it on, but I wouldn't. The OEM dome light is brighter inside.
As for the backup camera - I haven't gotten a chance to test out with the light on yet.

I like that! Is that something made specifically to fit in headrest or something that you modified? Link or source? Thanks

I used a dremel tool to cut off the metal arms/prongs (whatever you call them?) from my middle headrest (which is now useless). The lightbar I bought attaches via the bottom mounts, so all I had to do was find a screw that fit the inner diameter of the headrest arms. Screwed that in and the posts were attached nicely.

For the wiring, you can tuck the wires behind the seat along the platic backing. It tucks right under and out of the way. Ran it towards the front along the door channels, and basically the wiring is hidden and clean.

It doesn't rattle or move at all so I'm quite happy.

With auto-dimming, it's not so much of an issue - BUT - I did get the inspiration from this:
