Lemme guess... They voted to increase the state minimum wage?

 

I was on a freelance job in Vegas several years ago, got put up in the Aria (fancy shmancy). Client got us all "invited" to some stupid exclusive pool party in the hotel so we all went....all the girls got to go right in for free and every guy still had to pay a $100 cover charge lol. Just to sit by a stupid fking pool that everyone was peeing and jerking off in

Oh and drinks were minimum $40 each for mostly ice and mixer with a hint of booze

 

oh fuk ya I didn't even mention the cringy pool parties and EDM concerts they host where guys pay and u have to be button'd down to the shoes in fresh clothing.

Me and my buddies got tickets free off the strip for some EDM shit, all got dressed up and showed up. I had some Nike's on instead of dress shoes and they didn't let me in bc of them. Had a button down on and slacks, but they clapped me for shoes. I left and grumbled and mumbled but just went back to the room to enjoy more of our "amenities".

The hosts just know there's gonna be young and dumb and thirsty people out there hoping for the best. They know people will pay to play regardless, sad

 

Missed out on the concert shit. but, when my buddies came back not one of them had any insane stories that made me feel bad I didn't go haha

 

Passing through or around the outside of Las Vegas is fine though; there are some trails leading outside the city that I took on my 2wd Silverado years back

Had the dogs with me at a rest stop, back when I smoked a pack a day (2010)

 

Lol still with the current 2wd trucks after having other 2wd trucks like me, I respect that. 2wd gang never dies

I loved that Silverado; I got it after getting rid of the Tahoe I had while in the military. It was just me, the wife, and the dogs so I felt a bed would've been better suited for us.

That was my pitbull mix Jacquee, that we rescued from a kill shelter in Indiana, and Shadow, our purebred Husky that I got for the wife as a birthday present.

 

We had a Shadow growing up, black lab/rott mix. She hurt her hip on the job used to be K9, pops was on dept back then. Shadow was definitely the most loyal dog I've known

then started walking after being removed from Circus Circus for some reason i cannot remember, 25 yrs ago
got lost walking on wrong side of the freeway from whatever hotel was booked
perhaps alcohol was the culprit
idk

 

Anyone watched Alaska Offroad Warriors on Prime? Started it last night, the dudes they feature driving/interview are f'king painful to listen to when they talk, but some of the wheeling is pretty fun to watch and the cinematography of the Alaskan backcountry is pretty awesome.

Basically if you mute it, it's not half bad

 

Still have my two fave songs, She talks to angels, and Hard to handle, of Black Crowes in my current Playlist. never get tired of them

Those K9's are hard working dogs; our first dog (that I remember as a kid) was a german shepherd. Dad got it as a retired military police dog.

That thing was loyal and very protective of us.

 

Duuuuude his voice around the 2:20 mark, when he starts singing high GD he was soooooo good. Man. All of my fave singers never survived their addictions. Layne, Scott, etc....
Edit:I guess it was actually more the 2:30 mark, damn. Dude him and Cornell... Wow. I get all these gersberms from their voices man
