It depends, I dont have much room to work with in my bed as I'm running a full sleeper pad set up.

Removed my Retro hood stripes. Good product no issues but just got tired of them and wanted cleaner look to go with the headlight a grill. Used hair dryer on low took about 10 minuets for each side. Very residue use some Goof off and then clay bar buffer on polish and then used some Torque Detail Mirror Shine came out look good. The Torque Mirror shine did give a nice smooth surface and shine. Today’s project details the roof and start on the sides need to fix one scratch. Also need to find out why Temp display was stuck on 58F yesterday think I may have move the sensor while installing new grill.

Anyone here used a good fender liner other than the stock after cutting your fenders or you just say forget it and leave it as it is? I have a snorkel already but just want to cover it for a clean look

I read putting vaseline on the terminals prevents this. Idk if it actually works In the long run, but I do it which seems to be doing a great job for my terminals.

Fluid film works also. I spray under the battery tray, hold down and terminals.

I replaced the map lights with some amber ones the other day before work. The lights were working fine in the morning, but later that evening they wouldn't turn on. The dome lights, map lights, and clock under the head unit all stopped working. So figured I blew a fuse.

I searched TW to find the fuse and found out where it is located, but couldn't find what fuse I need to buy to replace it. Can anyone let me know? Thanks in advance

Upgraded my Head unit My 2006 Toyota Tacoma to a Pioneer 4500 NEX, and it Feels like a whole new Truck! The Pioneer Stereo has Apple Car Play, Bluetooth, Spotify, Maps, Audio Books, and Screen Mirroring so I can watch the Game during those long drives home from Mammoth! I highly recommend upgrading. My old set up was a very basic Alpine CD player, with Parrot Talk. ( Which is considered Primitive by todays standards )
If you're in the market for a new Head unit, I highly recommend the Pioneer 4500NEX. I was originally trying to get the Alpine 107, but that model has been discontinued. So after reading reviews on here, the next best choice, was the Pioneer 4500!

I started the job yesterday and finished just now. I installed a Tundra master cylinder and booster and 4Runner front rotors, calipers, and pads. It doesn't get bled by my friends offroad shop's computer until tomorrow AM. I did bleed the system the old school way as it gets it just good enough to carefully drive to a local shop.

Installed a new shifter knob from Speed Dawg. The oem one was getting kind of grimy.

Sounds a bit cleaner than stock, but not a huge difference. I installed steering wheel controls and e-brake override so my kids can watch movies on the road. I mainly chose this head unit because I wanted to have access to Spotify, maps, and movies while keeping the ability to play CDs. Price didn’t break the bank and it had the features I was interested in.
