I have a different set of problems, was eventually told by an honest tech that Toyota audio is expensive and low quality. Lessons learned after free replacements and the same is next time get the most inexpensive factory radio and immediately upgrade to a proper system.

Anyone having issues with the cyclical rebooting after iOS 13 updates? Mine is freaking out when its connected to Bluetooth. Shit reboots every minute or so, until I disconnect the Bluetooth... fucking sucks

So they sold you a used truck with a bad headunit. Why dont they replace it? On the other hand, you could just upgrade the headunit and be done with it.

I have the same problem. It just keeps resetting and resetting. I have found if I hit "continue" on the log in screen, then hit device, disconnect all, then connect as audio player it wont turn off, but when I hang up from a phone call...here it goes again. I have an appointment next week and plan to have the unit looked at. Well see what happens.

Try turning off the feature that downloads texts from the cell phone. I did this and no more reboots.

2016 SR5. Mine does the same thing, OP. Unpaired my phone and it stopped. Paired again and it works. Every once in a while it happens so I repeat unpairing. iPhone 11 Pro Max. It is getting me by until I can afford a different head unit.
